Every year, West Michigan women come together to celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting an event to help women build relationships, embrace diversity, and support each other both professionally and personally. The 2022 International Women’s Day Event was sponsored by Amway, InForum, Meijer and Spectrum Health. The event took place on March 2nd, 2022 at the DeVos Place Convention Center located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The assistance of Bluewater was requested to help develop a hybrid solution to hold the event both in-person and virtually in an attempt to engage a wider audience.
In addition the entire technical production for the physical event, our team at Bluewater also utilized the Parallel platform to create a hybrid event experience that would stream the live event to the virtual attendees. The virtual event platform included a custom landing page which highlighted the event sponsors and contributors and a chat window where attendees could converse.
Being a women-owned company ourselves, our team at Bluewater was proud to help execute this unique hybrid event experience for The 10th Annual International Women’s Day Event.
